Special note for those of you that have had the pleasure of hunting over our Sadie dog.
Sadie is officially going into retirement this year.  It' breaks my heart to think she's just getting to old to hunt. Her heart is still into it but
her body says no.
Over the past 12 years she has brought many smiles to my face and to the faces of those that have hunted over her.
We have added a new pup to the work force. Hopefully he can  step up to the plate and carry his share of the load.  He shows a lot of
potential as I write this. Time will tell if he can take the pressure of rigorous training, that it's going to take to have him somewhat ready
for fall.
Update:  With great sadness I have to report that my beloved Sadie has passed on.
I'm sure she's in a better place. It will be a long time before the tears stop.
God Bless
